Default VooDoo Lady (lily) -OR- Amorphophallus konjac, a smelly story

Well, right now FLICKR is down so i can add pics but my little bulbs of Amorphophallus konjac are starting to send up their spikes and if you are not aware of these plants they are quite remarkable....they are OUTSIDE only as they literally stink like death when they bloom but they also are quite cool and worth the smell

the plant grows like other lilies from bulbs and it sends up a single spike which then opens and becomes many little lieaflets and it grows into almost a little tree and then dies back to reveal the flower spike and then dies down to a new larger bulb for the next year

Pics to follow ASAP
