Inserting Pics in a post - Orchid Board

Marty, can you please explain how to insert a picture in a post. Can the picture file be stored anywhere? I am feeling a little technically challenged - and that doesn't happen often!

Maybe you could include the info in the FAQ?

You must have already figured it out, but all you have to do is put a link to a picture (which btw can be hosted pretty much anywhere)

replace curly brackets with square.

Well the truth is I did manage to do it before I asked, but did not have a clue what I was doing. I picked up an image from the internet and added it to one of my albums in the gallery. So the image needs to be hosted somewhere.......but can it be on my hard drive? :?

No, unfortunately it can't be on the hard drive. There is a forum mod however that would allow posting attachments from your hard drive though. I was thinking of installing it. I'll look more into it. For now the image has to be hosted somewhere. You can of course use the gallery that we have here and then just link the photo in your post.
