Gallery in Signature
I noticed that some of you have gallery links in your signature. At the moment there's no mods that will do that automatically, but here's a low tech method that puts an OrchidBoard button that links to your gallery.
Go to UserCP and edit your signature
as a last line, enter the following
HTML Code:
[url=http://www.orchidboard.com/community/gallery/showgallery.php?ppuser=##&cat=500][img]http://www.orchidboard.com/community/gallery/data/515/my_gallery.jpg[/img][/url]
TIP: To select the whole line double click it few times
Copy the above and replace the "##" with your UID number which you can look up in the address bar, when you click your link from this list
TIP: You can just place your mouse over your UserName and you'll also see the UID in the status bar
The resulting effect is the signature button below that will point to your gallery |

Hey that works slicker than snot on a doorknob!  Thank you, thank you.
I takes the person right to all the pictures the user has in the gallery.
In my case I have 8 albums in the gallery (what the %$#@!). Is it possible to modify the text to take the person to the list of albums instead? Then they can choose which on they wanna look in.

Dave, I tried. Can't seem to find the view. You can only do it, but when you press it yourself...meaning, I'll press your gallery button and see my own list of albums. There's no user selectability for that view, it defaults to your own albums ! Live with it |
