Default Specie catalogue/care sheets ???

I'm thinking of implementing a new cool feature. It would be a catalogue of specie caresheets...this is just an idea in my head right now, but that's how it always starts

Basically, imagine a new category say "Orchid Reviews"

here, a user could upload the information about an orchid and enter any info regarding the culture of that particular plant - as far as they know. Other users would be able to add to it and comment on it and add more care notes/information..

so say you click on paph lowii and you see anything related to paph lowii that any member entered. This would be like a care sheet catalogue. I'm sure over time this would grow into a heavy duty encyclopedia that everyone would find useful. Once you get a new plant you can go to the "Orchid reviews" (or whatever we'd call it) and see user posted info about the care of that particular plant. It would be great for newbies.

No idea how we'd handle hybrids though... anyhow

let me know what you think about that

Marty

PS: This would be operating like a review system... You have a product and users write reviews...except in this case the product would be an Orchid and the reviews would be growing tips supplied by the users

Hybrids could go as additional info under the species whose name comes first in the hybrids name. Am I making sense?
