Glossary is up!
User managed Glossary of Orchid terms is up and running. Anyone can add terms! Moderators/Admins can edit them. See site menu, option is now enabled.
AOS Judges also have the permissions to edit terms of other users.
Lets not forget though, that Oscarman is the Glossary Master of Puppets. He came up with the idea on the old forum !
Enjoy and lets create the best Orchid glossary on this planet ! I got you guys started with Anther
btw, when you add a new term, it will not show up until Dave (Oscarman) approves it... quality control  so be sure not to slap definitions together, pay attention to grammar and spelling

Very cool addition to the glossary. Term crosslinking is now functional. So if a definition contains another word which is also in the glossary, then that term will be linked so you can check out that definition.
I also enabled crosslinking in the forum, so when a term is used inside the post, it will be linked to the glossary term. Isn't this cool !!!
I've got a bulbophyllum with a capsule hanging. Isn't that cool ?!
if you guys get tired of it, then let me know and I'll remove it like I just removed a dried pseudobulb from my epiphyte which did not need any CITES permits, hehe... ya, OK  .

The feature doesn't flake out anymore (at least AFAIK) and forum and glossary crosslinking is back in business, so put your pseudobulb on !

There was a bug, that is finally fixed. Crosslinking to glossary is a great feature !

I entered a post this morning using the word terrestrial and I got a little notice about the glossary...very cool

There already is a spell checker connected to the board. In the reply box see the ABC with check mark. Click that and install the software, then every time you click it it will spell check it. It's a free add on for the browser and works like a charm.
