Default Just Curious

For the last few weeks I've noticed the new post page refreshes frequently. I'll post something, and it stays on the new post screen for sometimes less than an hour and when I return to the new post screen the recent posts are gone and there is a fresh page with 1 or 2 posts. The new post page seems to be refreshing well before it should. Sometimes there are only half a dozen or so new posts before they're filed into the forums. Is this part of the new software? I'm not trying to be a complainer, but it's a bit frustrating because you have to then search each individual forum for new posts and it takes longer. Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe it's just my connection.

I think it might have something to do with logging out and then back in, or maybe once you view a page of "new posts" the forum detects that you have browsed this page. Just a guess though, I just chalk it up to the OB Gods. They work in mysterious ways.

It does have something to do with logging in and out but there's a simple solution...

click on Quick Links (2 buttons to the right of New Posts) and choose the first option which is Today's Posts. It'll bring up all posts in the last 24 hrs

Because I stay so busy I don't usually log out. That way I can come to the site still logged in. There will still be pink envelopes that I haven't checked and they also vanish. Sometimes I've had responses for over a week and don't discover them until I go back and search each individual forum.
