Default No e-mail notification?

I don't know what is wrong, why do I get e-mails every time somebody answers a thread I have posted in? I have controlled my profil, and it says "no e-mail notification". Do I have to chose another option? Sometimes confusing when English is not my mother tongue.

in the forum menu that goes across the top of the screen, click "user cp."

next in the submenu that pops up on the left side of the screen (just to the right of the normal menu) click "edit options."

in the second section that appears, you will see a box talking about "default thread subscription mode." make sure this is changed to "no email notification."

scroll all the way down and click save changes.

Then I know I am not totally stupid that's what I have done! But I still get e-mails!! My inbox is full every day! I have clicked "save changes" one more time a minute ago. If someone can answer this post, so I can check if it works now

Hi Milda...easy fix coming up

Go to UserCP. In the column on the left side of the page, you'll see List Subscriptions. Click there and a list of all threads you're subscribed to will come up. You can make your adjustments there.

Let me know if you need further help

By the way, I've moved this thread to the Forum Feedback section of the forums

It should say 'None' under the 'Notification' column for each thread - according to the settings in your profile - you currently should not be getting any emails.....perhaps you have corrected it already.

If you ever wish to receive notification on one or more specific thread(s), this is the place to do it also. Check the box beside each thread you wish to receive notification on. Then go to the bottom of the page where is has the drop down box and choose the appropriate option.

Milda, no problem...feel free to ask any questions you may have

There's another way to choose what you get notices on:
when you are posting a reply, use the Go Advanced feature. This will allow you to choose No Email Notification before it even hits your UserCP
