Due to the demand we've split up the Vanda Alliance to the following:

Vanda Alliance - Neofinetia
Vanda Alliance - others

I know there's a ton of Paph growers at OB so I also split up the Cypripedium Alliance into

Cypripedium Alliance - Paphiopedilum
Cypripedium Alliance - others

Hope that works better. Eventually we will move all the threads into the appropriate categories.

Excellent idea! My suggestion is "slippers" to allow for Phrags and other weird slipper-like orchids (Cypripedium, foe example).

Does the Neo section mean only straight Neo or does it include Neo intergenerics? Just want to get this straight before I post anything.

I think Neo and Neo hybrids (which are all intergenerics, I believe)... as Paphs certainly wouldn't mean just species, but hybrids also.

Just that Neos don't have many other species within the genus to hybridise with... so you end up with other genus names.
