Is it updated automatically or manually? I wrote my location in my profile but I don't see it on the map. Am I the first one from ex-USSR?

I don't see a red cross in Ukraine either.....Also, the map for members online doesn't appear to be accurate. I'm looking at it now and I'm about 1000 miles from the nearest X.

The map doesn't update in real time.... Updates ever 15 minutes...meaning you should remain at least 15 minutes on the site to see yourself, provided that the point below is true

The map system is based on a free database that converts IP addresses to physical locations. Works for most large cities. If you live in a small city chances are that you will not be identified properly. The map is here just for kicks. A detailed database is pretty expensive so we're running the free version.

I may at some point scrap this map and go with a googlemaps based setup, but it will need you to physically enter your location. Also flawed because not everyone will enter their location and if you enter your location down to a street address and you post pictures of your $100,000 kovachi collection, expect a visitor at 3am

Also, remember, you promised me Marty, to include a feature to show the orchid collections real-time!? As I recall, I can zoom in and inspect the orchid and the pot contents and the pollin. (Just kidding, in case you didn't get it).
