You can now create private calendars to keep track of your daily schedules or you can post events for all to see. This could of course be an open house or orchid show or your Bar Mitzvah...whatever you'd like to announce to the growing orchid board community!
There is also an option about which I've ben raving...
Say, if members belong to an group - ie. Orchid Society, which has been created on this forum, then you may enter events that will only be visible by members of your society. This also applies to Links (make a list of links only your society or group can see) and of course a forum can be done, just for you, where no one else is able to get it, but members of your society. In fact, your society can have it's own mini board complete and visible only to you.... isn't that cool ?! I thought so too
... well...as we get more members, I'm sure this feature will be used more often. Just telling everyone that it exists, so talk to your orchid societies and clubs.
More features to come, when I get more time to play... I'm keeping them on the back burner for now as they are quite involved. I want to set up a better chat, hierarchies for species section and something else I can't remember right now...
