Default Automatic Log on

Dispite many attempts to have the Orchid Board log me automatically, it just is not happening. I enter my username, password and then check off the 'Log me on automatically each visit:' box. Each time I still have to log on manually. What's up with that? BTW cookies are enabled for this site.

Dave,

Clear your cookies. TOOLS -> INTERNET OPTIONS -> Delete Cookies
Close browser, open it up again and try to log on.

it should work. Let me know how it goes.

If all else fails, put a green helmet on your cat

Did it as per instructions, did not work. Left the website w/o logging out, shut down IE and then started my browser up again. When I went to the OB, I did not have to log in!

All seems to be OK now. It's a good thing, as I don't have a cat nor a green helmet. Although I could carve one out of a rather large grapefruit........now where is that neighborhood cat........

Is the problem that I kept logging out before leaving the OB?

hehe... I'm not sure what the problem was. I would just leave it always logged in (never log out) and just close the browser when you're done. Next time you should already be logged in.

Good luck with the grapefruit
