That may-, or may not be true, but there is nothing that says fertilizers or additives will ultimately end up in ground water (except maybe common sense).

Ray, how would I choose which formulation of K-lite to use? For example, I just installed a (still adjusting) RO system, so my water is fairly pure. However, I also have some orchids in a mineral composite aeroponic setup, which leaches calcium, and my new paph seedlings have a special limestone/oyster shell/silica something top dressing, so I'm getting extra calcium to them as well.

Should I get the pure water formula, or is the extra calcium I'm adding to the plants making it necessary to reduce the calcium in the fertilizer?

There is only one K-Lite formula. It is based upon the MSU RO formula, as we figured that the extra calcium and magnesium isn't going to hurt anything, even if used with a water supply already having them.
