I got used to it by now that I am not bothered by the commercial ads at all...I just scroll down and read the other listed postings

Me too but it has changed from how it was before. Maybe I was getting the 'supporter' deal by mistake before

The ad server upgrade may have messed things up as far as the ads go. I will have to comb through and see what is going on. I will deal with it when I find some free time. For sure forum supporters should be seeing less ads. On a more positive side, the upgrade seems to have fixed the security hole that was getting exploited. Now it's just tweaking, but a painful one, because I have to check the conditionals for different levels of membership.

I don't mind seeing some ads, even as a forum supporter, but it's the huge size of the one in the 'new posts' and 'recent posts' that bothers me.

OK, 4hrs later, seems I have fixed the problem. Forum supporters should not be seeing ads in between the posts and in the "New Post/Today's Posts" thread listing. Let me know if it's working for you. Thanks for being patient on this one too!
