You have plenty to contribute! So I look forward to your jumping in! And your "neglected" orchids may surprise you - they are amazingly tough. I want to hear about them - and their response to renewed TLC as you are able to give it.

Thanks Sara Jean! However, this is odd. I'm still logged in but when I get a notice, I can't respond because it says I'm not logged in. My password doesn't work either. Strange things have happened in my absence. I need to pm Camille.

A lot (maybe all) has to do with the fact that the https:// certificate expired back in June. (I think Camille has mentioned it to Marty who is the one who will have to fix it) If you access the Forum using https://orchidboard.com/community, login, etc is saved... but browsers (both Chrome and Edge) complain mightily, making you click through "I want to go there anyway" screens, and antivirus programs make you do the same. If you use the http://orchidboard.com/community link, you avoid the nastygrams, but then keep having to log in. I have noticed that in the last few days, even username isn't saved in the appropriate spot on the screen (though at least Chrome "remembers" it. The site hasn't changed, but browser behavior has... I wish they would stop trying to protect me from myself. It seems to be getting even tighter. Pooooohhh...

Carol. I for one respect your advice. I live in zone 5 and we have some similar growing conditions so please don't go anywhere.
