Default Jewel orchid identification.

I just read My latest haul of Jewells
and now I'm confused as to the id of two jewel orchids I have [from two different sources] that I think were both bought as Ludisia discolor- I think maybe they might be Anoectochilus

Originally I had two and then ended up with separate pieces that I potted seperately, I believe the two on the right are from the same plant. The one on the far left looks different, not sure about the one next to it .

The Macodes petola seedling that is actually a Anoectochilus was from Murray Shergold Easy orchids in NSW, the others were bought on Ebay.

Check Little Frog Farm website under Jewell Orchids. Rob has pictures of every one he sells. Littlefrog Farm

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Yes, although I'm not a taxonomic authority on jewels... I'm learning, but there is a lot of confusion in the group.

They all look to be Ludisia discolor. The one on the far left is a smaller growth...

I didn't realize there was a picture until now, but I agree with Pat. At least from the picture, they are all consistent with L. discolor. You would be able to tell for sure when they bloom, the flowers are very distinct between Anoectochilus and ludisia.
