Default Sarcoglottis fasciculata

This is a strongly perfumed terrestrial pollinated by bees. It is very dependent on a regular water supply, so it is mainly found near water courses.

In a country like mine, with so many beautiful epiphytes we tend to forget the terrestrials. But ,we have many and beautiful, Natasha.

yeah, i collected plenty of epiphytes already, and just turn my head toward the ground just a couple of weeks ago... i had this two sphatoglottis (forgive my spelling!) quite some time and they didn't flower yet for me. just last week i manage to buy another 3 terrestrial, phaius tankervillae, eulophia andamensis & geodorum citrinum. it just come across my mind to diversify my collection! i believe, part of my interest must come from your awesome pictures!
