And here is the Anoetochilus chapaensis from the same show.

Looks alot like Ludisia don't it???

Jerry, thanks for the link. It's very helpful. I've red it several times.

Here are some fotos about my jewel orchids.

 

Ludisia is very easy to grow. I keep them very dry conditions, but I water them daily.

 

Goodyera sp in Green Mix. Now it's in the orchidarium.

 

Macodes petola in Green Mix. Macodes is little tricky for me. First it grew very well.

 

I checked it's roots and there are very few left. I repotted it in very fine mix and put it in the orchidarium.

 

This is a new foto. As you can see Macodes petola is still very poor condition.

I don't grow jewel orchids. But my friend does. And he made a website dedicated entirely to the jewel orchids. This website will be bilingual (Russian - English) with bilingual forum and I help him with translations. I'm not sure if it is OK to post a link to another website and forum here. But from the others side, Marty wrote that he will be happy to interact with other forums.... So, may I post that link?

Would love to know more about the jewel...I have about 5 of them and my Ludisia discolor is doing great, but am having problems with my Macodes petola seems that the adult leaves are rolling. To much light? to dry?, water every other day...in sphag. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated? Having jewels is a first for me.
