Arrived today in meh shape, but I hope that they'll do well in the future. Recieved 4 plants, so I decided to pot one in soil-sticks-leaves (brown pot), one in soil-leaves (but more soil), and 2 in soil from a local "decomposition site".
Any idea when these will be ready to bloom?

Also found this little guy hanging out

They're somewhat common around here. I've seen bigger ones.

Some kind of rhinoceros beetle.
The normal kind I usually find is the rhinoceros palm beetle, which has small horns.

The 2 plants in the decomposition soil did not like it! They turned pretty limp today, so I added some more leaves and garden soil. The other 2, on the other hand, have attached themselves quite well!
