Default Habenaria repens

A little plant mail from a friend. A very easy subtropical bog orchid, native to FL.

I was assured by the friend who gave them to me that these plants are currently less than 6 months old from seed:

I grow these in peat sand mix. After they flower (and the little ones in the picture will bloom in the next year) they produce offsets. They are the boggiest of the bog orchids and need wet feet (very wet) all the time. If you take the seed pods and seed them into a new pot and wait a year, many will sprout. It is probably the only true aquatic orchid.
