Habenaria floribunda
This doesn't seem to be a popular species to grow, but I think that the individual flowers look quite exotic (as with many species in this genus). It's a wide-spread species, and relatively common in Florida. This one is from Lee's Botanical Gardens. A link to my blog post.

It's wacky looking because it was getting neglected in a tank with insufficient height.

I've heard a lot of great stuff about Lee's plants, this just happens to be the first time I've heard of his orchids haha

Indeed, I was placing orders for CP, and then added a couple orchids! His price for both CP and orchids is amazingly low. This plant was $4. |
