Cute micro orchid listed as cool/intermediate/warm likes to be moist and in the shade. Will try for better photos but this guy is tiny.

Very nice orchid. I would also like to know how you keep it.

Moving this to the miscellaneous forum since this is not a Pluerothallid, its belongs to Malaxideae

I keep it indoors, I live in Seattle so it stays in intermediate temps. I am using a couple higher light orchids to give it shade from a 2 lamp t5 set up.

Nice. Hows your humidity?

The humidity is about 50% on a dry day, and up to 70% on rainy days- thus little guy gets a daily dunk actually, I alternate between light fertilizer (1/4 suggested dilution) and no fertilizer.

I grow it in a cool terrarium with about 80% RH, gets a long "mist" = soaking wet every morning. Blooms quite frequently, and has rather vigorous growth. Gets fertilized with Klite once a week or so. Does not seem to like sphagnum too much. Can take quite a bit of light, i.e. at top of terrarium about a good foot away from 4-bank T5s.

Oberonia japonica is one of the relatively few species available with bi-colored flower. Really neat.

Thanks for the advice! This guy is one of my favorites so I think I will slowly move him to more light so he can be front and center
