Years ago I had a really lovely little plant of this species. I moved from Richmond, VA to Durham, NC for graduate school and my plant didn't like the new home. Died, in fact. I loved it, and missed it!
I have been searching, since 1991, for a supplier of this plant, which is a miniature's miniature. But, like a dummy, I looked at online listings but never called the sources. Today, on a lark, I called Andy, at Andy's Orchids. Needless to say, he has them in stock! (Why didn't I call him long, long ago?) So, my two new Zygostates alleniana(s) will be here in my happy home a week from tomorrow. I hope I can last until then.
Oh, and they are in bloom now, too!
