Default Nurseries specializing in Phaius

I saw the most marvelous Phaius at the Philadelphia Flower Show last weekend. Like wow. And after looking it up, it seems highly amenable to windowsill culture. I was not even aware of the genus until I saw it, and now I want one! Are there any nurseries who specialize in these?

There aren't any nurseries in the US that specialize in Phaius per se; occasionally you will encounter hybrids coming from the Hawaiian growers and haphazardly at other nurseries [especially in Florida]. They're not incredibly difficult to grow or bloom, but they take up a lot of space [as you can see the picture]; I've never grown them on the windowsill, but I have grown them under lights; they need a bit more light than typical windowsill levels to grow/bloom well. Looks like P. Lady Ramona Harris in the picture [I can't zoom in on the tag, but the flower appears to be]?

I was able to enlarge the image enough to read the tag:
Phaius Micro Burst 'Octoberfest' AM/AOS

Logees (Connecticut) and Hausermann's sometimes have them. Unless you get the one from Hausermann's that is in spike (fall/winter), you will probably be getting one that is not blooming size from one from both of these places.

I hope other people have some suggestions for where to buy these. They are really nice houseplants when not in bloom.

Triton's Orchids on Etsy has this particular Phaius right now.

Call EFG Orchids in Deland FL. I used to resell a lot of their stuff and they carried quite a few phaius.

A nursery owner I know had a customer who would take photos of plants in the nursery, post them on eBay, then when the auction finished would go to the nursery, buy the plant and ship it to the winner.
