Just starting to get going. I cross pollinated the flower facing the camera with a pollinia from Pecteilis radiata. Hopefully it takes!

this is one of my absoluter favorite flowers- i doubt i can grow it and i cant find a reasonably priced sample to experiment with yet


this is stunning- i cant wait to see the whole spike!

I totally love the species... it's one that I just can't stop taking pictures of. DC, I suspect that you could grow it fine. It needs to be drier in winter when dormant but not bone-dry, it likes warmth. (Generally the things that I have to grow in the GH do nicely outside in Florida)
