Default Corybas pictus Attempt 2

Second attempt at Corybas pictus.
What I'm planning to do:
1. Keep medium wet, but not water every day.
2. Keep medium somewhat moist in dormancy. I observed that when keeping tubers in plastic cups without anything else, they started to shrink and wrinkle.
3. Put the dormant tubers on top of the medium so I can keep an eye on them.
4. Move the whole pot inside (with tubers and medium) to avoid any incidents.
5. Cover the pot with something transparent, to further avoid any incidents that might happen.
6. Pray. A lot.

If anyone has any other tips or information, please do post!

Hi, that's a very specific statement, but all I can say is, have you been spying on me!? (In other words, yeah, how did you know?)

Bulbipedilum -
I have one of these also... I will be watching your progress. (I got mine in bloom, it finished, hasn't gone dormant yet, the test is, after it does, will it wake up???) But it was so cute that I had to buy it.

With prior experience of zero, nothing that I could recommend with any confidence. I am growing it in the house with some jewel orchids that are doing well. Light is lower and temperature more even than in the greenhouse (which seems to have helped the jewels) Keeping it damp all the time,on the assumption that it grows in an area that is always wet and covered in moss, I suspect that its dormancy should not be dry. So, this is definitely an experiment.

One of them went to bed early. Somewhat concerned because a part of the stem is still there, but maybe they do that, I dunno. The tuber seems fine and firm.

What it looked like right after I took it out of the pot

After a bit of washing
