Default Aerangis citrata

Finally, full bloom after being in spike last October 2007, it has opened. Unfortunately for me, no scent. It's supposed to smell like citrus (thus the name) but notta - not for my wife, either (she usually can detect the faintest of fragrances.)

White blossoms this small are nearly impossible to capture when set against dark backgrounds - sorry. The blossom is all white.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Very impressive, Ross. I love the mounting too.

Especially the fragrance of dollars in your wallet on pay day from a distance of 100 yards!

Citratas seem to be notoriously slow in developing, mine seems to have been in spike for years but is finally developing the tiniest of buds which seem to be making up for the time by developing quite quickly but like everything good, worth waiting for.

I put it in the Minis shortcut and this is where it went. There is no choice when done that way. Seems to be a flaw in the way posts go in.

That's awesome! Does it have a scent yet Ross? How long do the blooms last?
