Default Pterocerans semiteretifolium

Hi purchased this recently from Andy's Orchids as a TC for my Quickie Project 'chid so I cannot take credit for it blooming. I was so delighted when I received it since it was so small...the stick it is mounted on is maybe 4 inches tall if that! I do not have a camera to take the pictures that would really do this little one justice! In the sunlight....it has a crystalline shimmer to it! Enjoy!

Cute little thing, Becca. The flower reminds me some Phals. Is it related?

Ooops....It is supposed to be Pteroceras....not sure how I got the "n" in the name

Anyways....I am not sure if it is related to a phal.....from looking at the leaves, I would say no....but I really don't know....I did find the following link very interesting:

Me either. How'd I miss this one? On the list it goes. Thanks for sharing.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)
