Sophronitis cernua
Warm growing miniature from south east brazil. This particular plant is blomming for the first time for me and has more red in it than my other cernua´s.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Thank´s everyone. Unfortunate I have to tell you that the colour is some what wrong in the picture. The original colour has less yellow. I have tried to take photos in different light and play around with the camera settings and used the post processing tools in the computer, but I have never never been able to get this colour spot on.

Despite the color variation in the photos, they are still winners
I'd get my vote in next year's calendar!

I've never seen such a large cluster on this species! Impressive!

It's clearly related to the number of new growths.
