again, thanks everyone for the kind comments...
i've had a few more additional blooms occur, but i was unable to photograph those....including the trisetellas: hoejerii and gemmata.

@orchidsarefun: all of my plants are ones that appeal to me. i like those that have extreme forms, colors, and patterns as you can tell. i'm kinda quirky in that i need multiple contrasts in order to truly appreciate a certain plant. so in this way, each plant stands out from the others, and i can appreciate them all. of course, i also have to consider the needs of my plants, and so i tend to keep towards the highland, cool growing plants, with a few intermediates and warm growers.
i am looking for a handful of orchids, and they have proven to all be quite illusive: telipogon papilio, dendrobium vexillarius var albiverde and dendrobium cyanocentrum.

hello all! i finally got some orchids blooming again.
pleurothallis mystax (i know it's been posted before, but this plant is definitely a favorite...i hope you can see why)


cadetia chionantha


masdevallia nidifica

Absolutely beautiful! The photographs are excellent. I love that picture of the delicate little lepanthes telipogoniflora.
