Default Lepanthes telipogoniflora

Perhaps my favorite plant. I've had her for a few months now, and could'nt imagine my collection without her.

First two photos are backlit, second two were taken outside in light shade. If anyone wants full resolution photos, let me know.

That is an orchid? A very different orchid. I like it because of that. Where did you get it?

Yes, she is indeed an Orchid. The flowers are slightly smaller than a US dime.
I got her on Ebay a while back. The price was right

Hi Flowers

Great photos and really beautiful orchid. Congrats.

I wanted to buy one of these, but I get scared because around here it is difficult to give a cool environment. At least in the summer.

How do you grow?

I grow this guy in an Exoterra XL (24"tall x 18 x 18) terrarium. L. telipogoniflora is, I've read, an intermediate, so it makes things a bit easier. The temp. in the terrarium is around 72F in the day, and 68 to 65F at night. On warm days, the temp can get to 80, but i put ice cubes in front of the fans to cool things down a bit. Humidity is kept at %85 or higher. I thought L. telipogoniflora was going to be the hardest plant to grow, but out of everything I have, it's the easiest. That's not to say it will be the same for everyone, but it might!

Thanks!

The problem is that I have 100 F or higher for 3 months (max temp). But if it grows intermediate, then I bet I can grow it !
