I just got a mini-Catt on accident... lol! But I love what you did with yours. Was it very difficult to create that beautiful mount? My mini has one flower right now, and I really hope it takes off like yours did!

The mount was quite easy to make. I 1st drilled 4 quarter inch holes for the wire to pass through. I used 10guage copper wire that can be found at HD or Lowes. Make a ring that fits around the desired orchid pot and allow 3inches of wire to go through the slate and twist together on the reverse side. Split some bamboo and chop to various lengths and adhere with a hot glue gun where ever desired. and VOLA! it is done! Good luck with your new mini Reinbo15!
And an update on my mini, I had to repot it again because it completely overtook the 4 in pot. I haven't even had it for a year and it has doubled in size with 30+ PSB's and it pretty much stays in bloom. It now resides in a 6in slated basket in the same lava rock and charcoal mix.

Re: SLC. Awin Beggman Poev
A nice plant, and growing well! I have one also, but it has less red on the lip. My label says "Slc.Mem. Alvin Beggman Poem". They have to be the same plant. Whatever its name, it is a beauty!

Where did you get yours?

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

I have the Slc. Mem. Alvin Beggman "Poem" too. I haven't seen a single bloom yet but have high hopes. It's liking it's recent move to the new exo terra home.
I am delighted to see how beautiful the blooms are on yours! Really pretty. I love the minis!

Beautiful plant. Mini catts offer so much, moderate size, relatively neat growth habits and often generous flower rewards. Gotta love them!
I do believe the correct hybrid name is Slc. Memoria Alvin Begeman. It's parentage is L. esalqueana x Sc. Beaufort
