Loaded up on Miniatures at the Atlanta Show
Hey All,
Had a great time at the Atlanta show this year. Got to spend some time with my mom and she was kind enough to fund our trip with some belated birthday money. I picked up a Den. abberans, Den. oligophyllum, Onc. croesus, Max. variables (yellow), Den. 'Pixie Charm', Phal. lobbii, and Epi. propax. I passed on a beautiful Phal. lindenii because of the cool growing conditoins it requires. Would hate to kill a pretty little plant like that. The Pixie Charm is a Den. unicum hybrid that doesn't require the winter resting period. This one was the only one Marble Ranch orchids had that was more orange than yellow. I actually got two of the abberans because the price was right.

HMM. Got a 'little' carried away, huh.

Nice haul. I hope to be able to start my spring aquisition period soon.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Congratulations! Unfortunately, I did not see any mini jewels at Fairchild today! Oh, well, there's always Redlands! :0

Congratulations! Very cool choice of plants!!!
It made me think 'I only have a Lobbi & Oncidium eurycline.. out of Neils haul'..
Thank you for posting pics of your new plants. Gives me ideas for TC's I'm bound to have on a next buying spree!
