Default Leptotes bicolor and Menina

Leptotes bicolor is a miniature related to Cattleya with terete leaves and Leptotes Menina is a hybrid of it and Leptotes unicolor. Both are quite floriferous and seem to be quite easy to grow.

Those are great, Ron! I have several seedlings of the bicolor, any thoughts on what I should mount them too?

Awesome pics!! I have a leptotes bicolor too, and I can't wait for it to bloom.

Dana, mine is mounted on a piece of cork and it loves it! The roots are clinging to it very tightly

It's on a very small piece of cork, only 4 by 2 inches!
The pic I attached is 6 months old, the plant has grow alot since then and has twice as many roots. But it gives you an idea of what it's like. I took off the green string, the plant doesn't need any more help to hang on.

Ron,

Those look great! I have bicolor and unicolor, and really like them. Wasn't aware of the hybrid menina, I'll have to look for one.

And, Camille, that's a very nice healthy-looking bicolor you have there! Mine are on a piece of grapevine, and a piece of cedar shingle, but they look better on cork, I think. Yours obviously likes it.
