Default Lepanthopsis Astrophora 'Stalky' in blooms

Got this pot in a few months ago and it has been spiking since Mid-November. Love the star shape flowers and the size (being so mini) a plus Currently there are five blooming spikes and more spikes are showing up, last counted 4 more. I thought I share with everyone

It's so cute! The flowers may be small, but they look so cool and I love the color! Minis are awesome! Thanks for posting this one.

Just curious, what part of the Northwest are you from?

I am in the Bothell/Mill Creek area. About 40 minutes north of Seattle, and 15 -18 minutes from Everett.

Very cute! Great photos too. This one is on my list since a few orchid boarders seem to have it

Well, we're not quite neighbors then. Nice to meet another orchid grower from Washington though. I usually don't make it further north than Olympia, but one of these days I'd like to make it up to the Seattle area to drool over the nurseries around there. I've heard there are some orchid businesses up there too, like Olympic Orchids.

Well, see you around the OB!

Thanks. As a matter of fact, Ellen of Olympic Orchids helped me get it. It was at a very reasonable price. She has a small operation and she sells mainly seedlings, sometimes blooming plants. I would check with her. I have worked with her on my wish list for about a year and am very satisfied with her service. I usually will call her every couple of months to see if she has any orchids on my list for me. As all of you know it is very addictive.

Susanne, I have mine in my bath getting a couple hours of diffused SW sunlight and sitting on a humidity tray. It is a few degress cooler compare the rest of the house. I do fertilize it weakly weekly and keep it moist. I was just experimenting to see if it like it and I guess it did. I am definitely keeping it there. I hope this help.

Glad to see you've found it's happy place

I have mine in the big tank so the humidity is really high but now I'm thinking it might need just a little more light.

Thanks for your suggestions
