Default Podangis dactyloceras

Why do the tiniest plants get these big names? 'Podangis' sounds like a hillbilly cuss word.
Left on a road trip 10 days ago seeing three little nubs - thought they might be new foliage fans, but now they've developed into inflorescences - not open yet, but they will!
Plant resembles a tiny vanda; 2" or so tall. Buds seem relatively large for the plant.
Will update photos when the buds open (barring any chewing incidents!).
Regards - Nancy

haha, I was just about to post the pics of mine that has opened up in the last few days.....or at least a few of the buds. When I realized I had forgotten to write down the name and was going to have to march downstairs and get it. So thanks for the help! and your plant is a beauty! Its such a cute little mini.

And now, at last, the flowers! No detectable scent.

I just LOVE this little orchid and am adding it to my wish list.

LMAO about the hillbilly cuss word!

P.S. This one deserves an Erin Pot.
