Default Phal. equestris - new arrival from a local nursery.

I found a neat little Orchid Nursery outside of Atlanta called Peach State Orchids. They have a wide range of orchids and luckily for me they have species Phals. I picked up a Phal. mannii, schilleriana, violaceae, and this little blooming equestris.

Hi eastern cowboy,

nice young equestri! I also like your pic... I had previously seen your avatar and thought it was a cool picture of a Phrag/Paph with a very foggy background (like been take in the cloud forest of south america) I was just surprise to see it is a Phal equestris with just a grey background, when I opened this thread

Nice looking plant and flowers. I bought an Angraecum sesquipedale from them a couple of years ago, which was also a good quality plant. Too bad they're not more widely known. Congratulations on all of your purchases. It's nice to see someone take an interest in the awesome phalaenopsis species rather than the run-of-the-mill hybrids that seem to be everywhere these days.

You are so lucky. I've been wanting one of these for a long time.

Very nice! Phal equestris is by far my favorite Phal...I seem to be starting a sub-collection of them

Hey, they aren't too far from me. I'll have to go check them out.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)
