Default Trisetella dressleri

I've had this little one for two years now and have grown it two different ways. Last winter I grew it as a cool/cold grower in a window sill terrarium with a ultrasonic fogger and had two blooms. This year I put it in my Exo Terra as a intermediate/warm grower, as of now it has five spikes (there were six but one broke off ). No matter how I grow this orchid it has never given me any problems, it has even gone completely dry quite a few times and not even a shriveled leaf was found. I highly recommend this orchid to the "mini novice. I purchased this from Ecuagenera - We are where beauty resides in life: in the simplicity of an orchid. but I know Andy's Orchids - Orchids Species - Orchids - Species Specialist - Orchids on a stick has them if you want one....or two....or

Be careful Tim, you are taking over for Shakkai as the resident enabler You do realize now I am adding this to my must-have list? Good job with this guy, by the way. I say all the above in jest.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Very cool little plant! I definitely agree - its small enough that everyone could find room for one! And if you've grown it intermediate/warm, it might even be one that Sue would want to try!

Thanks for sharing your pics, and information - AND for being such a wonderful enabler!!

I saw differnet cultural needs between Ecuagenera site and Andy's. Also Andy supplies his on tree fern totems. I personally am against tree fern unless it's the only option because of the depletion in the wilds.

Default Thanks y'all!!

Ross, most websites say it is a intermediate/cold grower but it really seems to respond to the higher end. And I agree with you on using tree fern, everything mounted by ecuagenera is on tree fern . I will let Shannen keep the title of enabler, you can call me the "enableinator"

I have mine in fairly bright light, as long as the humidity is high it can stand the warmth.
