Default This tiny white chid got a tiny blue lip on middle.

This plant I bought from a sale long ago. It bloomed some time ago. It got tiny blue lip on the middle of it. This is a
very rear chid I thought of sharing it with you all. The case is I hoped it will bloom a very big flower of vanda.
Thanks.

Just a guess... my initial thought was Vanda coerulescens, but I'm not sure. Hopefully a member more knowledgeable than me will chime in. The pictures look like it might be growing off a tree?

Maybe you can share a picture of the entire plant and tell us how you have been growing it.

I planted it on a cement coated rigifoam board and I kept it hanging on a tree branch. I watered well and provided natural shade only. But flowers want last long and only for three days.
Some orchid growers here they try to grow these on boards , Most vandas grow wild in open area and bloom well and luckily we do not face any freezing winter to kill them.

You can see the light ash color board which the plant is attached to behind the flower spike .

This pic shows the board which I have attached the orchid and got long roots too.

Some error occurred while uploading the pic.
