Default Dendrobium lichenastrum bloom!

Little bitty plant, those largest leaves are probably 1" long. I got it on the 14th, so I think this bloom started in my care? I didn't see a bud, but it could have just been too small.

Tada! A great surprise to look over at today. So cute.

Anyone know if this plant is one that reblooms from older growth?

Nice bloom! Now to get my licenastrum to bloom... do you give it any winter rest or relatively constant watering/fertilizing (with the standard less frequent watering during the winter that most of us do for all of their orchids)?

What's the plant with the roundish, spotted leaves?

Wonderful! Congratulations!

I took this one to an Orchid Society meeting when it bloomed for the first time and no one could find the bloom! I did not think that it was that difficult to see.

I suspect growths cannot bloom more than once since I have so many growths but don't get many blooms. This is just a guess and I could be wrong.

One of the fascinating features of this plant is the strong fragrance produced by the tiny flowers.

Initiallly I found it unpleasant but eventually I have begun to like it, often smelling it before noticing the flower(s).

I have had this plant for over 40 years.
