Thanks Amphiron, maybe I should give it a try, since my laevifolium and lepanthes telipogoniflora, fiskei and calodictyon all seem to like my environment.

it's funny that you mentioned L. calodictyon---out of all the 50+ miniature orchids that i grow, (predominantly pleurothallids) that one is the only one that i struggle with---it might be that it gets too cold during my winter (45F) for its liking, as i've come to understand that it is more of a lowland intermediate than a highland intermediate.
i guess what i am trying to say is that L. calodictyon and D. cuthbertsonii's temp ranges might be too far apart to overlap and that may lead to the decline of either one if exposed to certain conditions. but that's just my personal experience when i tried to grow the two together. however, i've been in the game long enough to realize that generalizations are not always applicable for all growers...what works for one person can prove disastrous for another. but then again...who knows? you might be able to pull it off. best of luck.

thanks everyone for the kind comments. it looks like the scaphosepalum and poroglossums are working on something. D. laevifolium is working on 2 more flowers as well, so i will take pics of that update as well. |

Nice, I love your Dendros, and I am not a Dendrobium fan. I think it has more to do with ignorance on my part than actual preference.

Wow, such wonderful ones. Not sure how I missed these the first time.
Great pictures of the lepanthes calodictyon by the way, I know from experience how hard that one is to capture clearly.
