Default Nageliella purpurea

This is kind of a 'sleeper' - the foliage is short, leathery and kind of nubbled. Inflorescences can vary up to 3' (1m) or more, and the plant blooms repeatedly from the same inflorescence (if it is not damaged by wind, etc., which is a problem with such a long, slender stem).
Inflorescence grows from the base of the leaf; my mature plant flowers from early spring (April) to mid-winter. Not a spectacular flower, but an attractive plant in bloom.
Regards - Nancy

Very unique, thanks for letting us know about this one!
