Default Macroclinium aurorae

Pulled out all the equipment today to take some E-bay pics so I went ahead and got a few pictures of the little one. I really can't take credit for this flower, it was in spike when I received it. So can't give any successful culture info yet .

Anyway off to the picture .

I just had to take the plant out and give it a rub, no genie . But it is bumpy!

This one came from Andy's Orchids.

I'm always looking for more Macroclinium types if anyone knows a source. I've done the usual searches and found 1 on E-bay, but they appear very hard to find.

My next project is a vivarium built around these. So any hints on culture would be great. So far the ones I have seem happy but there is always room for improvement. Thinking a 12" cube Exo-terra would be perfect.

Here is a link to some really good info for Macroclinium bicolor, I'm going to use it as a base for the vivarium and hope most of these like similar conditions.
