Default Fisrt season Schwerter sizzlers

My first Schwerter order of the season arrived this morning and there were a couple of whoppers in there. Only one in bloom but there are spikes forming on some of the others which is fine by me. That jungley feeling is creeping into the greenhouse.

Vanda Purple 055

Ascocenda Orange Candy on the right

Renanthera philippinensis

Ascofinetia Peaches

Right Ascocenda Cherry Pearl Left V. Sylvia Palmeri

Wow! Yes, the jungley feel seems to be developing in there!

That Vanda is gorgeous, and the others all look great!

Thank you! LOL Yes, I'm sure this will be a very constricted area by the time next spring arrives. It's fun tho' to set this GH up but having lots of teething trouble with a so-called 'reinforced' hose - has all the structural integrity of a jelly fish.

Your GH is looking better and better! Vandas do give that extra jungle feeling. I see you got the Ascofinetia Peaches. I was thinking about getting it, and it went in and out of my shopping cart, but I didn't get it in the end. I can't wait to see blooms on yours, so I know what I missed out on!

Claessen Orchideeen in the Netherlands also has a nice selection of Vandaceous plants, if that's what you are getting into now!

Thank you all! I'm very pleased with it. Pleased with how it's all going. My two water butts arrived so they have been installed and filling with RO water.

You had to tell me that, Camille! LMAO
