Talking My growing Space 05/10 (D/L Warning)

Orchids pretty much occupy most of the space in my house. There are some in the bathroom, some in the toilet, every room has at least one orchid. The backyard is almost full of them. We mainly put our orchids on top of milk crates and bread crates, but we are slowing starting to replace them with DIY orchid stands. So far they are mainly 2 tiers but will make some 3 tiers for my Den speciosums The orchids are divided by the amount of water needed at the moment. The Den nobiles are under the carport which gets morning and afternoon sun, but no water. The Paphs and Oncidiums are under the carport aswell, but they get a little bit of rain and morning and afternoon sun. The Dendrobiums, Cymbs and other orchids are under my shadehouse. The shade house is using 70% shade, and the area has heaps of airmovement. The best grown orchids are under the shade house.

Happy to take some ideas and comments on my growing area.

oh my heavens... I'm so green with envy. It looks like a sanctuary to me! Where do you live? I sadly live in northern Utah, so never could I have the outdoor setup like you do... I keep begging my husband to more somewhere more hospitable to something like what you have.

Thanks for sharing! I'm in love!

Methinks your red spider is really a Dgmra...probably Skywalker or Hani Star 'Star of Unicorn'

Is it labeled?

Great looking collection!
