Default What keeps me sane!

Here are some pics I took this morning of my babies. Some are in bloom, but I just endured another Maine snowstorm through the night, and these chids help keep me sane, in bloom or not. Hope you enjoy. Some of the pics are not clear, but you can see what the outdoors looks like and why I am slowly losing my sanity.

Sweeet! Lots of variety in there. You must be a Stevie Nicks fan.

I love Stevie Nicks! I went to see her for the very first time last summer when she came to Boston. I often wonder..... How many orchids do you think she has?

Kiki-do, do you suppose they have adjoining rooms at the asylum?

How in heck do you get your B. nodosa to bloom? Mine just sits there and looks at me.

Those are only a few pics, Sue, if you could actually see my home, there's hardly any room for people.

Al
It's bloomed for me a couple of times, Al. The only thing I know is that I water it regularly, fertilize every other watering, and I dangle it over the trash can a couple of times and it pushes out a spike! It's the Ascocenda Fuch's Gold that doesn't seem to take the hint. That and my Ceratostylis retisquama refuse to bloom. They look healthy, but nada. So I've started to use "the tone" in my voice (scares the beejeebers out of my cat) and we shall see what happens.

Yup, it's extremely windy and cold out there. The sun is shinning now, but it's bitter cold. Thanks for the compliment!
