Nice deep windowsills - that's what I like to see! But that's not a radiator under the second one is it? I was told that it wasn't a good idea to put plants in windows that had radiators...

All of your's sure look like they are happy! I love the little nano-viv in the first picture. Do you get moss to grow easily? I haven't really found a type of moss (or perhaps a suitable place) where moss will grow for me inside. Outside it is everywhere, inside it does't die, but it just doesn't grow.

I agree with Shakkai, I love the little nano-viv in the first picture.

The plants all look so well grown, and what wonderful windows you have for growing orchids. A lot of us would die for those windows.

Shannan, check at Terrarium-shops for moss that can grow inside... Humidity is crucial for them and needs to be high all the time!

Shakkai, about the radiators, I have them under all my window, I have no choice, I only have theo on at a minimum and take in pleanty of fresh air from outside. I also need to water them more often and use humidity trays...... I do not think it is to dangerous as they are water based and do not create the "dry" electrisity "heat".

For moss on the terracotta tube: This one is newly started so the moss has not taken off jet. I use regular "wood moss" from outside and the trick is high humidity! Otherwise there is often a little moss on the root system with the orchids that will spread quite fast if the humidity is high enough.

the white windowsill on the first picture is a home made extention of the green/grey/black one in the second picture.

The most common moss people covet is the Java moss. I just seems to grow where you don't want it

I like it, myself.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think I have found a type of moss that I can use, I'm trialling it out with one of my mounted Pleurothallis. As for the radiators, mine are water based as well, but I was mostly concerned about temperature swings causing trouble.

Magnus, your plants all look great! So whatever you are doing, you must be doing it very well! Congrats on such a nice collection!
