Love what you've done, your setup looks outstanding. Great looking plants too!

Thumbs up

Well you have inspired me (along with the 27 days of rain we have had) to install lights in the GH (aka shadehouse with visqueen sides).

I went to Home Depot and got 1 x 4' T5 and 2 x 4' T12 setups. This should get me through the cloudy crappy days.

I'm going to create a new thread with pictures after it is completed.

Your setup is great.

Hello Stephen or anyone,

I'm new a new member...Really nice setup you got there Stephen...I was wondering how do you make sure that you don't get any mold build up with your kind of setup? I currently have a small growing area in my basement but lately it's starting to smell moldy I'm hoping I don't get any major problems regarding molds. Any advice from anyone would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I haven't ever had a problem with mold, so I'm not sure how to advise. If you mean algae, in the drainage trays, I just add some bleach to the water and it keeps it under control for the most part. Hopefully someone else on will have the answer for you regarding mold!

Nope not algae...although I do have a Aerangis Mooreana that's mounted on epiweb which has sphagnum moss with algae growing on it...don't know if algae can create that moldy smell.
