Anyone creating an orchid tree?

Anyone know where I can get info on creating an orchid tree? I saw the photos that ramp posted and loved the idea. Just wondering if anyone else has any experience making one. I would really love to if I can get enough info to feel confident.

After i read that i kinda pictured a hollowed out scuplture of clay that looked like a tree. It makes me want to go throw some clay pots and hook them together to make a small bonsai looking hollowed out tree that i can fill with water. I think i might try doing that in the next few weeks.

An orchid tree is a FANTASTIC idea! Gonna have to do some research on how to make one! Maybe then my husband wouldn't mind all the orchids in the house!

I've been thinking about doing one also. I am considering using pieces of oak branches. I would like to mount catt hybrids on it. We'll see if it works.
