Jacki, you don't need a GH in Orlando, just some smudge pots and then you can sit around at nite and roast marshmellows.

As for our winter lows, gets to 5 to 10F (-15 to -11C)

The heater is a natural gas 20,000BTu. It has a thermostatically controlled fan. I use an electic heater as backup....just haven't put it in place yet.

The exposure isn't the best but it is all I could have at this home. Looking through the door you are facing south.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments.

Biker, I do have a GH in Orlando, just not as Tall as yours, and big I guess
We had to stay under the fence-HO rules, and a small back yard-no room. So she's only 6' high and about 8x8 I think. I admire everyone else's with bigger, Sa-weeeeeter ones

Jackie

BikerDoc, What size is your greenhouse? Can you tell us anymore info on it? Was it a build it yourself from a kit? I love it and would like to have one someday.

Jackie, whatever you have, I'm sure, is wonderful. The funny thing about human nature, not to get too philosophical, is that we always want more....sometimes what we have can offer greater pleasures. Anyway, bummer about HO rules and regulations!

Karen, this is a GH kit. The manufacturer is Sun Glo (Sunglo Greenhouses) I purchased it through Costco because it was on sale and even not on sale it is still cheaper. Costco online always has the 8 x 12 for sale and if you go to their site it will list all that comes with the GH. I added 2.5' (8 x 15) for $400.00 which included the extended benches and wire shelves and larger electric heater which I use as backup. You can PM me if you want more info...thanks for asking...hope you get whatever GH you desire.

Your GH is outstanding, Howard. You've got a gorgeous selection in there, just love everything I'm looking at. Even the wood floors are great looking! I usually see cement.

Also love the view looking out of the GH. If you don't mind, what is it looking out on to? Looks very cozy.
