New purchases!
Hi All, I made a trip to my favorite orchid place in Maine yesterday and came home with three new chids.
I bought a Laelia Pacavia sporting two sheathes, both with buds coming inside.
The second is Encyclia mariae that has a spike growing and small buds are developing.
And the third is Phrag besseae (besseae 'Bleeding Heart' x besseae 'Colossal') that is very young but has two new growths.
Later today ( I hope, I hope) I will get a Hausermann's delivery! Gotta run and charge up the camera battery....it's gonna be a busy day!
It just doesn't get any better than this!

Great new 'chids, Kiki! Seems like this is the week to get new plants! Can't wait to see your blooms! Keep that camera charged!

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

It's almost 4 p.m. and no delivery yet! We are getting some pretty severe weather, too. Hurricane/tornado winds warning for the afternoon, however it's been strong rains only. Some wind, but not too bad. I was hoping to get my plants today, but maybe tomorrow. I hate it when they are in a box three nights. Oh well, whatcha gonna do!

Nope! Not this time. We've been blessed with a great July full of really nice clear blue sky, 70 degree weather and nice cool nights (I love to open the basement windows to cool it off so the tank doesn't get so hot.)

I love your new orchids Kiki! What a fun week you are having! Btw you talked me right into placing an order with Hausermanns. I'm supposed to get mine tomorrow. Did you end up getting yours? I can't wait to see pics of that big catt.
